Wow...where is the time going? Mom and I have been so busy that an entire month has passed and we haven't posted any photos. Mom says she is super behind on her scrapbooking too - really far behind but she plans on getting some pages done real soon.
Well, let's see - what did we do in April? It's more like what didn't we do - We had a lot of fun. Of course, there was Easter at the beginning of the month and I had four egg hunts in four days...but I never got sick of hunting for those eggs! We had an egg hunt and Easter party at school and then an Easter Egg Hunt at our Club where we live and then I went to an Easter party with Daddy and topped it all off with a family Easter party at Grandma's house. Here are some nice pictures from Easter:
It seemed like April was also the month for Trains. I became very interested in Trains this month. I still don't like to watch Thomas the Train but I discovered a show called the Dinosaur Train that I love to watch over and over again. Mom also bought me a train set that we can set up in the living room and play with, I learned a new story on my feltboard here at home about the train Alphabet and I went to Poway Train Park this month and got to ride the train. There were too many pictures of that event but here I am with my train set:
In addition to trains, I had a fun playdate with Maddie this month and also started getting really interested in playing games. I like to play matching with my Memory cards. I also like to play the new Sandwich building game Mom got me. I am always telling Mom that we should "play a game". My vocabulary is growing and I am speaking in entire sentences all of the time now. I like to tell Mom stories and she is always amazed by what I come up with. I tend to remember a lot of different things and I string them all together into one big story. Mom had my parent teacher conference this last week and I got glowing reviews!
Another fun thing we did this month was visit Grandma and Grandpa at the beach while they were camping. It was really cold at night but during the day - it was beautiful. I rode my scooter and my big wheel and ran all over the rocks on the beach. The water was a little cold and I was scared a little of the waves but we had a good time at the beach. Here is a picture of me enjoying some R&R with Elmo and also one that Mom says reminds her of the Blair Witch Project.
I am growing up too fast for Mommy's liking but she tells me all the time that she is very proud of me and how grown up I seem. Just the other day, she let me push the cart at the grocery store and I didn't run into any person or thing and we went all over the store. It was super fun!
See you all in May!
