Mommy hasn't had a chance to help me update my blog in a while as we've been busy.
Let's see.....first my birthday - I had an amazing birthday party at MyGym with a lot of my friends. We played, ran and jumped and we had cake and ice cream. Mommy was thrilled with how it all turned out and my friends kept telling me what a great time they had. Mom wasn't able to get a lot of pictures because we I didn't stand still for long- I pretty much ran the entire hour and a half. Grandma came to help and between the two of them, they got enough pictures for my scrapbook. Here are a couple from that day - I think you can see how much fun I had.
After the party I went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house and had a great birthday dinner. I also got to open all my birthday presents! Grandma got me the coolest gift - a really big trash truck!
I also opened all my other gifts at Grandma & Grandpa's house which mom thinks is hilarious because now everytime I play with one of my birthday gifts I say "Thank you Grandma, Thank you Grandpa". It was a great birthday and I love being two!
Mommy is very proud of me because I have such great manners. I say please and thank you and I bless people after they ssneeze. I even tell mommy to excuse me when I want her to move out of my way. I am growing up very fast. Mommy says I throw fits just like any two year old and she even videotaped me having one because she said she has to have video of all of me...not just the adorable parts.
Soon after my birthday, it was Halloween. This is one of mom's favorite holidays and I really like it also. At school, we had a Halloween Carnival and even got to pick our own pumpkin from the school pumkin patch. I dressed as a UPS man for Halloween. We went to the Halloween party at MyGym just like we did last year. It's always so fun and there are so many kids there.
Mom took me over to the Carpenters and we hung out with them for a couple of hours and then we did trick or treat at about 10 houses. I was a little shy at first but I got the hang of it. I knocked on the door, said trick or treat and the nice people gave me candy. I even got to pet a dog at someone's house! There were a couple of houses that I was too afraid to go to because they had cobwebs and lights and scary sounds and so I just told momm they were "too scary"
I sure love candy. Mom doesn't let me have too much but when I get it - it sure is a treat. Mom said that next year I'm going to have even more fun but I can't imagine how we'll top this year.
As far as a regular update, I'm doing really good. I'm healthy and happy and Mommy just had her parent-teacher conference at school and I got a glowing report. I love to run and play and I really love anything that has to do with sports.
We are getting ready for the holidays. In fact, we are heading over to Grandma's house today for a "mini-thanksgiving" dinner with Great Grandpa!
